Job description

CWS seeks a Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure quality processes for the U.S. Customs and Border Protection's (CBP) Network Operations Center (NOC) contract. The Quality Assurance Specialist ensures all NOC and WNOC processes meet quality, compliance, and performance standards defined by the CBP PWS.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain QA procedures for service delivery and releases.
  • Support configuration and change management audits.
  • Conduct reviews of performance data and documentation.
  • Provide quality findings and recommendations to leadership.
  • Ensure process alignment with ITIL and CBP quality frameworks.

Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years in quality assurance or change/release management.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering.
  • ITIL v3 certification.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Federal IT programs.
  • CCNP or Change Management certification.

Place of Performance
  • Springfield and Ashburn, VA (with possible travel to Orlando, FL, and other CBP facilities).

Clearance
  • Must have favorably passed a full five (5) year background investigation (BI) required by CBP policies and procedures for employment prior to beginning work with CBP.

$95,000 - $145,000 a year
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity. The posted range is appropriate for a typical candidate meeting, at a minimum, all the core requirements of the position.
