Consider joining us as a Contract Logistics 1st Shift Quality Inspector at our aerospace facility in Jupiter, Florida. This role operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with weekly compensation of $30.00 per hour. Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Inspector is responsible for determining methods, operations, sequences, and setups to conduct thorough inspections. You will be part of a large aerospace site. Prior quality experience in aerospace or automotive industries will contribute to your success in this role.

  • You will review documents when applicable to determine acceptance or non-acceptance
  • Produce inspection reports and corrective action requests
  • Report quality findings or problems to Quality Manager and follow up to ensure corrective actions are complete
  • Maintain record of inspections and prepare list of defects
  • Work with all departments to ensure compliance with specification
  • Participate in team development including quality and continuous improvement program

Knowledge and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of related experience
  • Interpret blueprints and understand Geometric Dimension and Tolerance
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards
  • Understand basic concepts of Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or equivalent
