This is an internship position (Non-Exempt Salary); the hourly range is stated below. The rate offered within this range will be based upon the geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level. Hourly Rate: $22 - $26/hr.

OVERVIEW We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of quality management through rotational assignments across different functions. As a Quality Intern, you will work closely with our quality professionals and cross-functional teams to support key quality initiatives and processes.

This role is designed to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of quality systems, practices, and the importance of maintaining high standards in a manufacturing and engineering environment. RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Audit Support: Assist in preparing for internal and external audits by gathering and organizing necessary documentation.

Participate in audit activities, including walkthroughs, documentation reviews, and process assessments. Support the creation of audit reports and track the implementation of corrective actions. 2.

Document Control: Help manage and maintain quality documentation, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and compliant with relevant standards. Assist in the review, approval, and distribution of quality documents across the organization. Support the implementation of document control procedures and training.

3. Technical Training: Collaborate with the training team to develop and update technical training materials related to quality processes and systems. Assist in scheduling and coordinating training sessions for employees across various departments.

Track and report on training completion and effectiveness. 4. Manufacturing/Engineering Design Site Support: Provide quality support for manufacturing and engineering design teams, ensuring processes meet established standards.

Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities related to product quality issues. Assist in the implementation of quality improvements and process optimizations. 5.

Supplier Quality: Assist in the evaluation and monitoring of supplier performance, ensuring compliance with quality standards. Participate in supplier audits and assessments to verify adherence to contractual and regulatory requirements. Support the development and maintenance of supplier quality metrics and reporting.

6. Quality Metrics and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report on key quality metrics such as defect rates, process capability, and audit findings. Assist in the development of dashboards and reports to communicate quality performance to stakeholders.

Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying trends and areas for improvement based on quality data. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Currently pursuing a degree in Quality Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
