Job description

Job Summary: Sparks Group is partnering with a leading Aviation company in order to fill multiple Quality Inspection openings. Ideally we are looking for someone to help make sure the airplane parts and products produced meet all design and quality standards. This position is 100% on site Monday thru Friday business hours. If you have experience with Quality Inspection in the aviation, healthcare or manufacturing industries apply now for immediate consideration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Check parts and materials to make sure they meet design and quality requirements.

  • Keep records of inspection results as proof that everything was checked properly.

  • Identify and report any problems or defects in parts or materials.

  • Set aside any parts that don’t meet standards and help decide what to do with them.

  • Review paperwork to make sure it’s correct and matches quality standards.

  • Use tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges to measure parts accurately.

  • Perform both visual checks (looking for obvious damage or defects) and detailed measurements.

  • Work with vendors and customers to resolve quality issues.

  • Support and mentor other inspectors as needed.

  • Hold special quality certifications (or "stamps") from at least three customers, showing you're qualified to inspect products for them.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 3 years of experience in quality inspection, ideally in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.

  • Comfortable using precision measurement tools like calipers, pin gauges, ring gauges, and comparators.

  • Experience doing First Article Inspections (checking the first part off the production line).

  • Good computer skills, especially with Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
