Job description

PLEASE READ BELOW

Provide Quality services and support for all missions assigned to a manufacturing or warehouse site while ensuring a healthy and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

(To include but not limited to the following)

Client Relationship & Business Development

Act as an impartial third party between the production source and the customer facility to ensure the product meets set criteria

Operations

Check/inspect manufactured parts or products for defects

Read and follow work instructions and general processes

Use measuring or testing equipment as needed

Ensure products meet quality standards

Display excellent customer service

Must comply with local and company Health & Safety legislation, laws, and policies

Organization & Management

Collect and record data

Technical

Utilize company portal for time recording and policy acknowledgements

Other

Any other duties as assigned

Inspection Requirements

The inspection team shall perform and document the following checks on 100% of product being shipped:

1. Visual Inspection

  • Verify product is free from visible defects.
  • Check for Rust, damage, contamination, deformation, surface irregularities, or any condition that would affect fit, form, or function.

2. Dimensional Verification

  • Verify critical dimensions against the latest approved engineering drawing/print.
  • Any parts found outside specification shall be segregated and reported immediately to the supplier

3. Identification and Label Verification

  • Verify all labels are accurate and legible.
  • Confirm part numbers match customer requirements.
  • Verify quantities are correct.

4. Skid/Bundle Identification

  • Each skid, bundle, or banded unit must be individually identified.
  • Labels must include at minimum:
    • Part Number
    • Quantity
    • Any required or traceability information - ie:  Sales Order, etc...

All third-party inspectors must comply with site safety requirements and wear the following PPE at all times while on the Supplier Production floor:
