JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector

POSITION REPORTS TO: Quality Manager

POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the quality of product, product assembly, and packaging in all areas of manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A QUALITY INSPECTOR AND MUST HAVE CONSISTENT LONGEVITY IN POSITIONS

  • Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
  • Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
  • Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
  • Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
  • Participate in routine visual inspections
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment work
  • Document and record control;
  • Control the non-conformance area (inventory, disposition, and associated costs.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Previous work experience in quality control, quality assurance, or other related fields is desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint);

SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Performs additional duties as directed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • High School education or equivalent
