Job Description: Quality Inspector
Title: Quality Inspector
Reports to: Quality Engineer
FLSA: Non-exempt
Location: Mesa, Arizona
Summary
The Quality Inspector I inspects cables to ensure they are built to customer's specs and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Conducts visual and measurement tests of products
  • Performs inspection of incoming, in-process and outgoing products
  • Performs final inspection of completed cables
  • Reviews product specifications to ensure finished cables are compliant to standard
  • Reports quality problems or findings to Quality Manager
  • Submit Corrective Actions to correct product/process failures
  • Performs other tasks as required by Supervisor

Requirements
  • High School diploma, GED or work experience
  • I year cable assembly experience
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to use gauges, calipers, rulers
  • Basic math skills, including ability to do calculations and convert fractions
  • Ability to use microscope
  • Ability to read, write/ speak English
  • Demonstrates keen attention to quality and details
