Job description

Chipton-Ross is seeking Quality Inspectors for a contract opportunity in Stuart, FL.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

Ability to effectively interact/communicate with all disciplines

Working knowledge of Boeing Specifications & Blueprints preferred

Preferred candidate will have working knowledge of the Manufacturing Execution System (MES)

Able to understand shop mathematics to interpret engineering drawings, manufacturing specifications, and Inspection procedures.

Ability to use inspection tools such as, scales, thickness gauges, micrometers, calipers, go no-go gauges, dial indicators, and split ball gauges

Willing to work any shift

Ability to read and speak English proficiently required in order to perform the job

Excellent organization skills

Excellent attention to details

Must be a Team player

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspects Assemblies/detail parts for compliance to applicable drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements

Documents discrepancies per applicable procedures

Works from engineering drawings, blueprints, quality procedures and instructions, manufacturing specifications and procedures, operation and work sheets, electronic data and verbal instructions

Uses precision measuring instruments in performing assigned quality tasks

Maintains necessary documentation and records

Monitors and implement adherence to all safety and department procedures, practices and directives

Other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION

Accredited HS Diploma or GED and 0 to 1 year of inspection experience required in the manufacturing of aerospace components/assemblies

Full-Time
