Pay: $14 to start Schedule: Day shift Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm *The Final Inspector plays a critical role in guaranteeing the quality and appearance of finished wood products before shipment. This position is responsible for inspecting units against established standards, identifying defects, ensuring compliance with customer specifications, and documenting inspection results. The Final Inspector works closely with production, quality assurance, and shipping departments. Responsibilities: *Conduct final inspection of finished wood products to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications *Visually examine products for surface defects, structural flaws, fit and finish issues, and measurement accuracy *Use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances *Document and report inspection findings, including defect identification, corrective actions, and disposition of non-conforming products *Communicate inspection results and concerns to production leads and quality control supervisors *Ensure products are correctly labeled and traceable prior to packaging and shipment *Participate in continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects and improve product quality *Maintain a clean, safe, and organized inspection area - adhere to all safety policies and procedures *Assist in rework or sorting when required, following established defect handling processes Requirements: *Prior experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, or woodworking production preferred *Strong attention to detail with an eye for spotting defects and inconsistencies *Proficiency with inspection tools, including calipers, rulers, gauges, and other precision measuring devices *Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members *Dependable attendance, punctuality, and a commitment to quality standards Apply online at www.mancan.com or stop in as we take applications Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm.
