Quality Inspector Position Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to ensure fabricated and welded products meet company and customer quality standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable reading blueprints, and experienced with weld inspection and precision measuring tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret fabrication, welding, and material prints.
  • Inspect welds, fabricated parts, and finished products for quality and conformance.
  • Identify and reject non-conforming materials or products.
  • Complete accurate quality inspection documentation.
  • Inspect incoming raw materials for correct quantities, part numbers, and specifications.
  • Use precision measuring tools including tape measures, calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
  • Work independently while effectively communicating quality issues with production.
  • Work any shift and overtime as required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Metal fabrication and/or quality inspection experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding prints.
  • Knowledge of weld quality and how to grade welds.
  • Proficient in using tape measures to 1/32', calipers, micrometers, and protractors.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and convert measurements to decimals.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conforming product.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable and willing to work flexible shifts and overtime when needed.
