Job Title: Quality Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Engineer to maintain and enhance our Quality Management System (QMS). The role involves managing customer quality issues, developing quality metrics, leading inspection activities, and driving continuous improvement initiatives within our manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), including NCR, CAR, RCA, 8D, ECN, and internal audit processes.
  • Manage customer quality issues, complaints, and warranty claims, ensuring timely root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Develop and track quality metrics and KPIs to monitor product, process, and supplier performance.
  • Lead inspection activities across supplier, receiving, inprocess, and final inspection for fabricated sheet metal components.
  • Qualify, onboard, and develop suppliers to ensure compliance with quality and fabrication standards.
  • Support production through NCR management, quality training, and collaboration with manufacturing and engineering teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap, rework, and process inefficiencies in fabrication operations.
  • Promote a strong safety and quality culture throughout the manufacturing floor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.

  • Preferred experience in metal fabrication, welding, painting processes, SolidWorks, PDM/MRP/ERP systems, and drafting standards (ANSI Y14).
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or Lean Six Sigma certification is preferred.
