The Quality Inspector performs product visual inspection and measurements to independently determine and promote conformance with quality standards, records inspection data and rejects nonconforming materials.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but not limited to:

Independently performs product visual inspection and measurements by assessing compliance to specifications, records inspection data and rejects nonconforming materials.

Participate in issue resolution.

Follow action plans when a non-conformance is detected.

Utilize Stop Call Wait and Escalate process for reoccurring defects to supervisors

Participate in Tier meetings as needed

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent.

Minimum 1-year working experience in electronics manufacturing

Skills Required:

Basic computer skills

Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/Operations knowledge

Electronic Manufacturing Service (EMS) or equivalent experience.

IPC A-610 (inspection acceptance) or applicable standard (e.g. IPC-A600)

Proficient English verbal communication with Operators and Quality team

WORKING ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS

Physical and/or Mental Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel office equipment, objects, tools, or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms; and occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and occasionally up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision and identification, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
