The Roving Inspector will perform shop in-process inspection and approves outgoing product by performing essential requirements and job duties as listed.

Requirements/Job Duties:

 

·         Reads drawings and blueprints to effectively qualify machined products.

·         Uses basic measuring equipment (Calipers, micrometers).

·         Reads and interprets Control Plans.

·         Performs cell product audits and documents inspection results.

·         Performs Final Audits before shipping to customer.

·         Performs outgoing product audits before shipping to outside operations.

·         Maintains records of all measurements.

·         Use SPC for control of critical features where required.

·         Communicate effectively with Quality and Production Departments.

·         Other duties may be assigned.
