Business Unit Description:
The Quality Assurance business unit is responsible for ensuring all products meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. The team supports manufacturing operations by performing inspections, managing nonconformances, and driving continuous improvement to ensure product reliability and on-time delivery
Job Title/High-Level Position Summary:
Advanced inspector responsible for complex inspections, supporting engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with tight tolerance and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform complex inspections on precision components and medical devices
  • Interpret advanced GD&T (position, profile, datums)
  • Set up and operate advanced equipment:
  • CMM (manual and/or CNC)
    • Advanced Keyence systems
    • Air gages for tight tolerances
    • Profilometers for surface analysis
  • Lead and review First Article Inspections
  • Perform root cause analysis on nonconforming parts
  • Mentor and support junior inspectors
  • Collaborate with engineering on inspection methods and fixtures

Minimum Basic Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma (technical training preferred)
  • 5-8+ years of inspection experience
  • Working knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience with CMM operation

Travel Requirements:
  • Up to 10% of travel may be required.

Desired Characteristics:
  • Experience in medical device or regulated industry
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (Oracle, Agile)
  • Exposure to CAPA and quality systems
  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector (CQI
