Job description

Supplier Inspection Services, Inc. (SIS, Inc.) provides quality management support services that assist our clients manufacture and deliver high quality products. Our clients include component manufacturers in the Automotive, Aerospace, Appliance and general manufacturing industries.

We are currently looking for qualified individuals in the Dayton, Ohio and surrounding areas who are looking for a challenge, interested in gaining experience in many areas of manufacturing processes and products and like the variety of handling different tasks and projects.

Our Manufacturing Quality Inspector Team Leaders supervise other team members performing visual inspection and rework of manufactured parts either at one of our local facilities or where the parts are manufactured or stored.

Starting pay Manufacturing Quality Inspector Team Leaders dependent on experience.

Manufacturing Quality Inspector Team Leader job duties include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for assigned quality inspection personnel

• Provide training, guidance and oversight of team members

• Verifies quality inspection personnel compliance with work instructions, procedures and policies through process and product audits

• Responsible for the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of documentation for all assigned projects

• As a working Team Leader, perform varied inspection tasks as required

• Provide performance feedback of assigned team members

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED equivalency

• Basic math skills

• Detailed oriented

• Good interpersonal skills

• 1-3 years of manufacturing experience is a plus

• Knowledge of inspection techniques is a plus

• Must have own vehicle and a valid driver’s license

• Ability to work overtime and/or weekends as assigned

• Must be able to walk, stand, lift up to 25 pounds and perform repetitive tasks for an entire shift
