Shift: 1st Shift

Position Summary

We are seeking a Quality Engineer to lead quality planning activities for assigned commodities supporting product development programs, current production, service parts, continuous improvement, and value improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in cross-functional quality activities, including DPARs, FMEAs, control plans, design reviews, supplier audits, risk assessments, and root cause analysis.
  • Identify, communicate, and resolve supplier quality issues affecting new product development and current production.
  • Facilitate corrective actions using the 8D problem-solving process.
  • Ensure effective execution of Return Goods Authorizations (RGAs), Supplier Change Requests (SCRs), quality plans, and supplier improvement activities.
  • Support continuous improvement and value improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years of related experience in manufacturing, quality engineering, or supply management within a design or manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with quality tools, including:
  • FMEA
  • Non-Conformance Corrective Action (NCCA)
  • Statistical Process Control (SPC)
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Six Sigma
  • Experience gathering and analyzing data, including statistical analysis, to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics, product models, and GD&T.
  • Ability to prioritize and lead activities with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience with quality engineering tools such as supplier audits, DPARs, and design reviews.
  • Knowledge of SAP-PAG and SAP-PDM.
  • Audit experience, including process verification and special process audits.
  • Experience supporting riding lawn equipment or utility vehicle production processes.
  • Experience with Lean manufacturing principles.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant work experience.
