Job description

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement quality procedures in alignment with customer requirements and process specifications.

  • Establish and maintain sampling plans using recognized statistical methodologies.

  • Identify and drive measurable quality improvement initiatives.

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize data to prepare reports and provide actionable recommendations.

  • Monitor, test, and inspect products to ensure compliance with defined quality standards.

  • Review customer and engineering drawings to identify key characteristics and critical features.

  • Participate in Change Control Board (CCB) and Material Review Board (MRB) activities.

  • Support and participate in First Article Inspections (FAIs).

  • Lead and conduct internal audits to ensure readiness for external audits.

  • Perform and lead root cause analysis, implementing effective corrective and preventive actions.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality documentation and records.

  • Support the Quality Director in implementing and sustaining the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with standards such as AS9100 and Nadcap.

  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance quality awareness, process adherence, and customer satisfaction.

  • Monitor supplier performance and conduct supplier quality audits.

  • Provide guidance and support to Quality Inspectors to ensure adherence to processes and procedures.

  • Collaborate with operations and contribute to overall team objectives.


Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

  • Proven experience in a similar advanced-level role, preferably within the aerospace and defense industries.

  • Hands-on inspection experience with IPC-620/WHMA-A-620C and J-STD-001 standards.

  • Experience working within ISO-certified quality management systems, with preference for AS9100 and Nadcap environments.

  • Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably CATIA.

  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
