Job description

Seeking a Quality Engineer to support manufacturing quality, process control, and continuous improvement within a semiconductor fabrication environment. This individual will partner closely with operations and engineering teams to investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, strengthen quality systems, and drive product and process improvements. Client Details Our client is a long-established, financially strong technology manufacturer that develops advanced products supporting AI infrastructure, communications, aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. Description Serve as the primary quality representative supporting semiconductor foundry manufacturing operations. Lead root cause investigations and corrective actions for manufacturing, process, supplier, and customer quality issues. Partner with Operations, Process Engineering, and Quality teams to improve yield, process capability, and product quality. Utilize SPC, statistical analysis, and quality methodologies to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Review manufacturing controls, process changes, and quality systems to ensure compliance and process effectiveness. Develop quality metrics, reporting tools, and best practices that strengthen overall quality performance across the organization. Profile A successful Quality Engineer should have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline. 4-8 years of experience within semiconductor manufacturing, quality engineering, process engineering, or a similar technical environment. Strong root cause analysis experience utilizing methodologies such as 8D, Six Sigma, FMEA, or related quality tools. Hands-on manufacturing floor experience working closely with engineering and operations teams. Experience leveraging statistical tools and data-driven problem solving to improve quality and process performance. Semiconductor, aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or similar high-tech industry experience preferred. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 per year.
