We are seeking a Quality / Continuous Improvement (CI) Engineer who is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving the quality, efficiency, and performance of SG360°'s operational processes and products. This role focuses on developing and implementing quality standards, quality control systems, and continuous improvement initiatives to ensure consistent compliance with internal standards, customer requirements, and regulatory expectations. The Quality / CI Engineer partners closely with operations managers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to drive corrective actions, process optimization, and a culture of continuous improvement.
Overview of Duties/Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality standards and quality control systems.
  • Monitor and analyze quality performance metrics to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
  • Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
  • Collaborate with operations managers and supervisors to implement process controls and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure workflows, processes, and products comply with safety, regulatory, and EHS requirements.
  • Investigate product, process, and production issues and identify root causes.
  • Develop and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Review and interpret codes, specifications, and manufacturing processes.
  • Implement process improvements to maximize productivity and quality.
  • Provide coaching on Lean and Continuous Improvement methodologies, including Six Sigma.
  • Support new product and process implementation into production.
  • Manage quality and CI projects to improve operational performance.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Perform data-driven problem solving using statistical analysis.
  • Support EHS, QA, and manufacturing initiatives.
  • Support tool and fixture development ensuring EHS and quality compliance.

Requirements
Qualifications Experience & Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance.
  • ASQ certification preferred.
  • Experience with QA software tools and systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Lean, ISO, CI, TPS, TPM, or Six Sigma accreditation preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience using Power BI for reporting, analytics and data visualization preferred.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Quality, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or related field preferred.
Travel: Minimal local travel may be required for meetings, trainings, and/or other business purposes.
