Job description

Rice Lake Construction Group is seeking a project manager to support the management team of the company's commercial construction division. With ample opportunity for growth, the position is an integral part of the project team and can expect to perform duties in all aspects of project management including takeoff, document control, scheduling, site planning, updating logs and other project records as needed, attending meetings, budget oversight, and writing purchase orders, subcontracts, RFIs, and bid proposals.


Education and Background

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or another related field preferred.

Two-Year Technical Degree in related field or > 3 years relevant trade experience performing in a leadership role on commercial construction projects accepted.


Practical Knowledge

Construction Means & Methods, Site Layout, Math and Complex Calculations, Critical Thinking as it applies to the breakdown and interpretation of Specifications and Plans, Scheduling, Materials Scheduling, Data Analysis, Organizational Methods, Writing Skills, Verbal Communication Skills.


Work Experience

No work experience required for those with post-secondary study resulting in Construction Management/Engineering degree or equivalent. A minimum of 3 years relevant trade experience performing in a leadership capacity required for all others.
