Founded in 1933, Branco delivers high-quality construction projects across Southwest Missouri and the greater Midwest region with a strong commitment to safety, quality, and long-term value.
Position Summary
This is a paid internship, supporting the educational goals of applicants seeking, primarily, construction-related careers. Typical career paths supported are in the construction management or civil engineer degree areas (field supervision/field engineer, project engineer/assistant project manager, estimating). In a limited capacity, we may also be able to support internship in accounting, safety, HR, or marketing.
The internship experience depends on the chosen career path of the applicant and current needs of Branco. Internship may be hands-on, working with crews in the field on job-sites doing actual construction tasks, or it may be in the office alongside our experienced professionals, working as an assistant.
Required Qualifications
  • Must be enrolled and in good standing in a college or university
  • Dependable attendance and reliable transportation; travel up to 75 miles to job site
  • For hands-on experience: ability to lift up to 50 lbs and heavier loads with assistance; ability to perform strenuous labor in adverse conditions (20 lbs otherwise)
  • Ability to work independently and follow written and verbal instructions
Preferred Qualifications
  • Valid driver's license
  • OSHA 10-hour Construction Card (training available)
Work Environment / Travel
Field-based role with travel across the four-state area (MO/KS/OK/AR) and beyond as needed, or in-office in our Neosho or Springfield, Missouri locations.
