Description:
  • Support of Department KPI's (Key Performance Indicator), workshops, and quality activities
  • Work with supplier to ensure quality products are delivered to BMW.
  • QMT Project Technical Support
  • IPQ Support
  • QZ Audit Support, data analysis and follow up.
  • Q Index Support and follow up.
  • Rework Investigation support and follow up
  • Support on steering of activities for Projects
  • Creating minutes and LOPs out of best practice exercises
  • Maintaining lessons learned database
  • Follow up on measures at suppliers
  • Assist supply chain and QMT engineers as needed
  • Stabilization of supplier production
  • Support of series quality projects
  • Support supply chain workshops
  • Projects to improve specific KPI's
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management

The qualified intern should expect to contribute to improvements in the following functions:
  • Conduct research and conceptualize new ideas.
  • Support project management and coordination of plans for related projects.
  • Coordinate and support focused, community-based events and initiatives.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret information to evaluate the landscape against business strategies.
  • Stay abreast of best practices and recommend relevant initiatives for activities and actions.
  • Provide regular input on enhancing processes and practices.
  • Support the organization's vision, strategy, priorities, and roadmap.
  • Partner with stakeholders to enable successful prioritization, development, delivery, and adoption of program goals.
  • Create PowerPoint slide decks for presentations and support preparation for meetings.
  • Participate in project team meetings.
  • Provide general administrative support.
  • Schedule the use of meeting room facilities on an as-needed basis.
  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned by project team members.

Qualifications:
  • Enrolled in college program with major in business admin, engineering, supply chain or similar preferred.
  • MS office, advanced excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience leading groups of people
  • Assignment qualifications from JFDS
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE May 18th, 2026 - August 7th, 2026.
