About This Role
We believe people should love what they do - in this role, you will be responsible for:
  • Interfaces with internal functional groups and systems in performance of the assigned Quality Engineering tasks
  • Performs quality planning activities including development of Quality Plan, Quality Assurance Directive and Inspection Plan documents as required by the assigned project(s)
  • Accumulation and compilation of
  • Support nonconforming material documentation
  • Interfaces with Supplier Quality Engineering to provide guidance and support for supplier issues
  • Uses knowledge in reviewing customer contracts and design standards, responsible for requirements analysis, identification and definition of inspection tools and techniques to define inspection requirements
  • Participates in process improvement activities through monitoring, root cause investigations, auditing, failure analysis
  • Participates in developing fabrication/build processes and standards

Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or Materialial Science
  • Knowledge of statistical techniques and applications
  • Ability to organize and prioritize assigned tasks
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, good interpersonal skills
