DRIVE QUALITY EXCELLENCE AT COILCRAFT
Position: Quality Engineer Location: Cary, Illinois
Coilcraft, Inc. is a privately held global manufacturer headquartered in Cary, Illinois, with a 75+ year reputation for engineering excellence. We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support customer quality, manufacturing quality, and continuous improvement initiatives across our global organization.
About the Role and Your Impact
  • Partner with customers to define product quality requirements
  • Support reliability, performance analysis, and customer quality requests
  • Assist manufacturing with process capability studies and statistical analysis
  • Evaluate inspection and testing equipment
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures
  • Prepare and approve manufacturing procedures, drawings, specifications, and test documentation
  • Participate in customer and internal audits
  • Collaborate across Manufacturing, Engineering, Materials, and Marketing/Contracts Administration
  • Provide guidance on IATF 16949 compliance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Who We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of Quality Engineering and/or Manufacturing Engineering experience
  • Hands-on manufacturing and inspection experience
  • Strong understanding of quality tools and statistical methods
  • Excellent communication and customer support skills
