A Quality DME (Durable Medical Equipment) professional is responsible for ensuring that medical equipment meets regulatory standards and quality expectations. They typically inspect, test, and verify that products such as wheelchairs, hospital beds, and respiratory devices are safe and effective for patient use. Quality DMEs also maintain compliance with industry regulations, manage documentation, and address any issues related to product quality. Their role is vital in healthcare settings to ensure patients receive reliable and safe equipment.
