Job Description Job Title: Quality Control Manager - Mechanical & Plumbing Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Manager to oversee and implement quality assurance and control procedures for mechanical and plumbing projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all installations, materials, and workmanship meet industry standards, project specifications, and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong leadership, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with project teams to maintain high-quality construction practices.

Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive quality control program for mechanical and plumbing systems. Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and industry standards. Review and approve materials, equipment, and workmanship to meet established quality requirements.

Identify and resolve quality issues, working closely with project managers, engineers, and field personnel. Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, test results, and non-conformance reports. Train and mentor field personnel on quality control procedures and best practices.

Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA safety regulations, and industry guidelines. Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to address quality concerns and ensure project success. Lead root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address quality deficiencies.

Prepare and submit quality control reports and recommendations to senior management. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control within the mechanical and plumbing industry. Strong knowledge of mechanical and plumbing codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical documents. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong leadership and communication abilities to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

Proficiency in quality control software and documentation practices. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to various project sites as needed.

Education & Certifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or a related field (preferred). Quality control certifications (such as ASQ, CQM, or equivalent) are a plus. Work Environment Combination of office work and field inspections at active construction sites.

Exposure to various weather conditions, confined spaces, and high elevations. Requires physical activity, including walking, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods. Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience.
