Position Overview: Sales Trainee

As a Sales Trainee, you’ll play a key role in selling, merchandising, and maintaining quality control across our extensive portfolio. You’ll work closely with on-premise and retail accounts to drive distribution and maximize sales performance.


Territory & Ideal Candidate

  • Primary territory: Lake and Porter County, IN (must live in Lake or Porter)
  • Experience with on-premise accounts (bars, restaurants, venues) and/or retail accounts (grocery, liquor, supercenters) is highly preferred
  • Weekend and some holiday availability required
  • Occasional evening accessibility (for work events and to trouble shoot draft issues)

Compensation & Benefits

  • Starting annual salary: $45,000 with experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Build strong relationships with customers and consumers and provide tailored product recommendations
  • Execute sales presentations and promotions using our “10 Steps to a Sales Call”
  • Troubleshoot draft issues at on-premise accounts
  • Monitor inventory, rotate stock, and ensure product freshness
  • Assist with deliveries and collections as needed
  • Attend team meetings, promotional events, and maintain company equipment

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous sales experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Math aptitude, strong communication skills, initiative
  • Ability to work independently
  • Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and obtain a Salesman Permit
  • Physically able to lift/move up to 170 lbs. with or without a hand truck

Work Environment

This is a field-based role requiring travel to customer locations in all weather and traffic conditions. You’ll use standard tools like iPads, iPhones, and computers to manage your accounts.
