How you’ll make an impact
This temporary (8-month) contract role, with the possibility of extension, is responsible for clerical transactions within our new Smart Factory™ Manufacturing Execution System (MES), which must be completed on a Production Work Order basis, prior to release to the shop floor.  Specifically, these “pre-configuration” transactions will ensure at the appropriate Product Quality Inspections are included for both Product Associate and Quality Inspector use, improving clarity & reducing complexity.
Salary: $20.00 - $25.00
Job Responsibilities 
As defined by standard work, complete transactions for Smart Factory™ “inspection group” selections accurately and in a timely manner, to ensure the correct Quality Control Plan Inspection are defined on a Work Order basis.  This involves:
  • Understanding the structure and applicability of the “inspection groups” for our various product lines and client requirements.
  • Working closely with Production Planners to support the release of Work Orders once “pre-configured” with the applicable Quality Control Plan details.
  • Provide general clerical and administrative support to the quality department.
  • Review transactions for accuracy and completeness before submission, in compliance with established procedures.
  • Enter, update, and retrieve information from company systems and databases.
  • Perform other administrative duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Support Quality, Production, and Engineering teams with administrative tasks.
Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication (English) is mandatory.
  • Prior administrative and/or clerical experience in a manufacturing environment required.
  • Ideally, successful candidate will have prior experience with production quality control methods, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) databases, and production Work Order creation.
  • Proficiency in MS365 software and database use required.
  • Prior working knowledge of Tulip and Smart Factory™ Manufacturing Execution System (MES) or an equivalent MES is preferred.
  • Frequent sitting. Office environment.
