Job description

Camtronics, a subsidiary of HEICO Corporation, a NYSE-traded company (NYSE-HEI) is seeking a Quality Control Inspector. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for conducting visual and mechanical inspections on aerospace components in accordance with inspection procedures. This position is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Inspects/tests finished products, products being processed, incoming parts, and assemblies for conformance to company standards.
  • Utilize drawings, work orders, specifications and other pertinent information to assess conformance to requirements.
  • Document non-conformances detected during inspection.
  • Perform internal audits.
  • Communicate pertinent information through reports, emails and in-person discussion.

  • Five years of quality experience using mechanical measuring equipment, performing visual inspection, first article inspections and some electrical testing experience required.
  • Proficiency in the use of hand inspection equipment to inspect precision machined parts required.
  • Capable of interpreting drawings and specifications and performing detailed inspections in accordance with specifications and quality procedures.
  • Aviation experience preferred.
  • Background working in an AS/ISO environment a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to analyze and identify trends inspection data.
  • Ability to communicate with internal Team Members and external customers in a professional manner.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the associate is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; talk or hear; and occasionally required to stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The Team Member may occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. May be exposed to loud noises.
