Job description

Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in the greater Southern California region of CA. The Land Development Manager will have extensive land development experience and be able to tailor that experience into erosion and dust control work, from design inception to completion. Responsibilities include identifying target markets and customer bases, articulating overlooked needs for site developments that are underway, managing a team of superintendents and laborers, equipment and materials related to our business, and collaborating with heavy civil, horizontal construction, and homebuilding teams. The role requires managing people, equipment, materials, and timelines, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and maintaining quality standards. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to meet organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Site Development and Land Development processes and best management practices for stormwater, erosion, and dust control suitable for the Southern California market.
  • Strong skills in Budgeting and cost management for large-scale projects.
  • Understanding of the horizontal development and Homebuilding process and collaboration with construction teams for both public and private homebuilders, and other construction industries.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with local stormwater, erosion control, and dust control regulations and processes.
  • QSD/QSP certification or equivalent is a plus.
  • Water treatment experience is also a plus.
