Heartline Staffing, in partnership with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking an experienced Quality Control (QC) Engineer for a fully onsite opportunity in Fort Worth, Texas. This role is ideal for a hands-on quality professional with electronics manufacturing experience who understands electronic assembly, PCBA inspection, defect identification, corrective actions, and continuous improvement.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality Control Engineer is responsible for inspecting and testing manufactured products, documenting defects, and verifying implementation of corrective actions throughout the manufacturing process. This position works closely with production personnel, engineers, and other departments to maintain quality standards, investigate manufacturing issues, and improve product and process quality.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Conduct regular inspections and testing of Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) to verify compliance with quality standards and specifications
Identify and document manufacturing and product defects
Verify implementation and effectiveness of corrective actions to address identified defects and prevent recurrence
Lead or support investigations into manufacturing quality issues and root causes
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Industrial Engineering, Supplier Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing Engineering
Conduct and maintain Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify quality risks and establish appropriate controls
Participate in Kaizen projects and other continuous-improvement initiatives
Apply quality tools including Pareto Charts, Histograms, Check Sheets, and related quality-analysis methods
Update QC inspection checklists based on product changes, manufacturing-process modifications, and customer requirements
Track, review, and approve feedback within inspection systems
Maintain inspection-system records and support audit readiness
Maintain accurate documentation of inspections, testing, defects, and corrective actions
Prepare quality reports and improvement findings for management review
Provide training and guidance to production personnel regarding quality standards and procedures
Collaborate with Quality Assurance and manufacturing teams to support product quality and continuous improvement

Regular Standing and Walking During Product Inspections
Manufacturing Noise and Machinery Exposure - PPE Provided

Requirements

Minimum 3 Years of Hands-On Electronics Manufacturing / Quality Control Experience REQUIRED
Electronics Manufacturing Industry Experience REQUIRED
Hands-On Electronic Assembly and Inspection Experience REQUIRED
PCBA / Electronic Assembly Inspection Experience REQUIRED
Experience Identifying and Documenting Manufacturing and Product Defects REQUIRED
Experience Verifying Corrective Actions REQUIRED
Basic Knowledge of Quality Tools Including Pareto Charts, Histograms, and Check Sheets REQUIRED
Strong Attention to Detail in a Manufacturing Environment REQUIRED
Ability to Work Fully Onsite in Fort Worth, TX 76177 on First Shift REQUIRED
Ability to Work Cooperatively in a Team-Oriented Manufacturing Environment REQUIRED
Willingness to Learn and Continuously Improve REQUIRED
Experience Participating in Kaizen or Continuous-Improvement Initiatives Preferred

EDUCATION: A college degree is not required for this position. Hands-on electronics manufacturing and quality inspection experience is the primary qualification.
