What does a quality control music intern do?

A Quality Control Music Intern assists in reviewing and evaluating music tracks to ensure they meet industry and company standards before release. This role often involves listening for audio quality, checking for errors or inconsistencies, and confirming that metadata and labeling are accurate. Interns may also help document issues, communicate feedback to producers or engineers, and learn about the technical standards of music production. It's a valuable entry-level position for those interested in the behind-the-scenes processes of the music industry.

What are some common challenges faced by a quality control music intern, and how can I prepare for them?

Being proactive about seeking feedback and staying organized will help you succeed in this fast-paced, collaborative environment.
