What is Quality Control Microbiology?

Quality Control Microbiology is a specialized field within quality assurance that focuses on monitoring and ensuring the safety and efficacy of products by detecting and controlling microbial contamination. Professionals in this role test raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products using various microbiological techniques to ensure compliance with regulatory standards. They play a critical role in industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and cosmetics to maintain product quality and protect public health.
