Overview / Responsibilities

Wood Programs, Inc. (WPI) is seeking a Quality Control Manager to join our team in Durham, NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with Quality Inspector for progress of on going tasks
  • Review and verify project deliverables including, but not limited to, invoices, proposals, reports, schedules for completeness and proper filing
  • Verifying statistical reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Use a thorough knowledge of an operations and maintenance operations to: Ensures compliance with local state and national code requirements, industry best practices, company policies, and procedures
  • Supports company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity by ensuring quality of delivery.
Skills / Qualifications
  • Must have a minimum 10 years' experience in quality control; reviewing plans and specifications for Task Orders, review of plans established by estimating staff, and performing a final review of the work performed
  • Must have a minimum five (5) years of Project Management experience be proficient in Microsoft Office software which includes: Outlook, MS Word, Excel, project and Access
  • Must be knowledgeable in the execution and operation of Facility maintenance tasks, systems and components
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to review and edit project documents.
  • Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organization skills to track progress of multiple skill being executed simultaneously
