JOB SUMMARY
The Quality Control Coordinator provides administrative, organizational, and continuous improvement support to the Quality Department. This position is responsible for coordinating quality-related activities including training programs, document control, internal communications, customer and supplier surveys, quality system projects, and departmental improvement initiatives.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Coordinate and track employee training activities, certifications, qualification records, and retraining requirements.
  • Coordinate quality training sessions for employees throughout the company.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training materials related to quality procedures, 5S initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Compile, analyze, and report survey results and improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain controlled quality records and ensure documents are properly scanned, filed, and electronically archived.
  • Assist with document control activities including revisions, distribution, and retention of quality documents.
  • Coordinate corrective actions, audit findings, customer requests, and quality-related communications between departments.
  • Draft and distribute emails, meeting summaries, action lists, and quality communications.
  • Assist in maintaining quality department spreadsheets, databases, and performance metrics.
  • Assist with preparation for customer, internal, and third-party audits.
  • Support customer and supplier surveys, forms, questionnaires, and compliance requests.
  • Assist in maintaining training records, audit records, quality reports, and regulatory documentation.
  • Support Quality Management System (QMS) initiatives related to AS9100 and ISO 9001 requirements
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on efficiency, organization, waste reduction, and process standardization.
  • Coordinate departmental meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate Degree in Business Administration, Manufacturing, Quality, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative, manufacturing, quality, or coordinator role.
  • Experience in aerospace, defense, manufacturing, or AS9100 environments preferred.
  • Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees across all departments.
  • Understanding of document control practices and record retention requirements.
  • Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S principles preferred.
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Experience with ERP systems, document management systems, and quality software is a plus.
