Job description

Position Summary
Acuren is seeking a Lab Tech II to support operations in Cincinnati, OH.
Responsibilities
Mechanical testing experience doing tensile and compression testing.
The Laboratory Technician II independently performs a variety of laboratory tests and analyses with moderate supervision. This role is responsible for preparing and analyzing samples, operating specialized laboratory instruments, and ensuring test accuracy and compliance with established standards. Testing equipment includes mechanical testing tensile and compression frames, OES, and various microscopes. The Lab Tech II interprets data, maintains detailed records, and may assist in troubleshooting or method refinement. This intermediate position requires solid technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to train or support junior personnel.
