Job description


Position Summary
Responsible for supporting Quality Control testing operations through laboratory maintenance, sample handling, documentation, and preparation of routine lab materials. This role ensures smooth and compliant lab workflows by assisting with general laboratory activities and special projects.
Position Accountabilities
  • Wash and maintain laboratory glassware in accordance with GMP and safety standards.
  • Prepare laboratory solutions following standard procedures.
  • Assist with sampling of raw materials and minor in-process physical testing.
  • File and maintain laboratory records, logbooks, and other controlled documents.
  • Audit laboratory samples, logbooks, and records for completeness and accuracy.
  • Support special project assignments as needed by the QC department.
  • Perform general housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean lab environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Zero to two years of experience in a laboratory or pharmaceutical environment preferred.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-through skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Windows systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in a scientific or technical field.
  • Two or more years of experience in laboratory support or pharmaceutical quality roles.
  • Experience with GMP documentation or lab inventory systems.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work with PPE in a laboratory setting.
