Now Hiring: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS)

Position Details:

  • Full-Time
  • 80 hours per pay period
  • Afternoon Shift (1pm โ€“ 9:30pm) Monday โ€“ Friday, with rotating holidays and weekends 
  • Occasional Night Shift Coverage Required
  • Benefited

Job Duties:

  • Provide quality service for all aspects of the pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic phase of test performance 
    • reagent, specimen, quality control materials, products, and supply preparation, understanding procedures
    • quality control and specimen testing, recognizing the interrelationship of tests, with accurate and precise results
    • remedial and corrective action, documentation
  • Prepares and maintains departmental records, reports, statistics, logs, files, and other documents as required in written and computer format.
  • Accurately and timely procures and handles specimens. 

Required Qualifications:

  • MLT: Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related laboratory science field
  • MLS: Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology, or a related laboratory science field
  • Must meet CLIA '88 Testing Personnel qualification requirements for moderate- and high-complexity testing
  • ASCP, AMT, or equivalent certification required within one year of hire
  • BLS certification required within one year of hire

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience with high-complexity laboratory testing
