Job description

WHAT YOUโ€™LL BE DOINGย 

The Quality Inspector is a key position at Jensen Infrastructure. Youโ€™re at the end of the of the line, making sure our products are to specifications, top-tier and ready to hit the market.ย ย ย 

Reporting to our Quality Manager, youโ€™ll primarily work with the production team and the yard team.ย ย ย 

A highlight of your day to day will include:ย ย 

  • Inspecting products, verifying that products are being manufactured at the highest quality levels and processes are being followed accordingly.ย ย 

  • Samplingย concrete for slump, air, temperature, and unit weight daily. Makingย recommendations for better quality of product.ย 

  • Inspectingย rebar cages for proper placement based on specifications and production drawings.ย ย

Education and Experience

Preferred Education: Some coursework after high school

Preferred Experience: Between 1 and 2 years

Licenses and Professional Certifications
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technicianโ€”Grade I within 6 months - Required
American Concrete Institute (ACI) certification - Preferred
Precast Concrete Institute (PCI) certification - Preferred

Qualifications
Ability to read and interpret production drawings
Familiar with ACI, ASTM, and NPCA manuals and procedures
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Email, Spreadsheet, Word Processor)
