Job description

This position is primarily responsible for the quality control inspections and procedures in all operational departments and assisting the Quality Control Supervisor in other areas as needed. This position is also responsible for handling the communication and corrective action measures with the Production Department, Quality Control Supervisor, and Operations Management.

Compensation: $16.00 to $19.00 per hour

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for inspecting assembled cabinet quality in the Production Department and inspecting the quality of inbound flat pack and component shipments.
  • Facilitate communication between production employees, and communicate issues to the Production Supervisor and Operations Management.
  • Work with the Production Department and Operations Management to provide quality control data and implement new solutions to prevent quality defects.
  • Responsible for compiling and reporting all appropriate quality control related data to the Quality Control Supervisor and Operations Management.
  • Work to update and maintain the general quality specifications manual.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Knowledge of basic computer skills, including the ability to send and receive email and have basic proficiency in Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must be in good standing in regards to performance, professionalism & attendance.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow all safety rules.
  • Demonstrated ability to understand instructions and to follow procedures.
  • Must be well organized and have high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, while also being an active member of a larger team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic work environment and willingness to assume new responsibilities.
