Job description

Saban Onyx is a meticulous and organized Quality Control & Inventory Specialist to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining our reputation for high-quality gemstones. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our gemstones, managing inventory, and handling various back-office functions. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will contribute to the smooth operations and quality standards our clients expect.

  • Proven experience in a quality control, inventory management, or similar role (experience in the diamond, gemstone or jewelry industry is a must).Knowledge of diamonds, precious stones, semi-precious stones, and jewelry manufacturing
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills showing initiative and follow-through
  • High standard of workmanship with experience in gold, platinum, and precious metals
  • Ability to check the quality of jewelry and obtain data from advanced gemological equipment
  • Provide support to the team and department supervisor
  • Handle all aspects of processing and quality control including analyzing, evaluating, and assessing the quality of incoming jewelry
  • Uphold and promote the accuracy, consistency and quality of standards and methodologies
  • Able to work using microscope to inspect pieces
  • Must be able to handle a fast paced environment
  • Must be willing to learn
