Job description

Precon Structures is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support operations at our precast concrete manufacturing facility in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma.
The Quality Control Technician will inspect materials and finished products, verify production standards, maintain required documentation, and work closely with production employees and management to ensure all precast products meet company, customer, and industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect precast concrete products during each stage of production.
Verify dimensions, reinforcement placement, embeds, concrete finishes, and product specifications.
Review production drawings, blueprints, and quality-control documents.
Perform concrete testing, including slump, air-content, temperature, and strength testing.
Prepare and maintain accurate inspection and test reports.
Identify defects, nonconforming products, and production concerns.
Communicate quality issues to supervisors and production leadership.
Confirm corrective actions are completed before products are approved.
Monitor proper handling, storage, and identification of materials.
Assist with internal inspections, customer inspections, and quality audits.
Required Qualifications
Previous quality-control experience in precast concrete, construction, manufacturing, or a similar industrial environment preferred.
Ability to read blueprints, production drawings, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with production employees and management.
Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor production environments.
Must be dependable and able to maintain regular attendance.
Must be able to pass a drug screening.
Preferred Qualifications
PCI Level I or Level II certification.
ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician certification.
Previous precast or concrete-testing experience.
Knowledge of concrete production, reinforcement, welding, and dimensional inspections.
Bilingual English and Spanish skills are a plus.
