Job Description:

Crysalis Biosciences, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled QA/QC Lab Technician who will be responsible for assisting with implementing and maintaining our plant's quality assurance program. This role is critical to help ensure consistent product quality and operational excellence. In this position, you will support our company's goals and compliance standards by testing, analyzing data, and driving process improvement initiatives by conducting tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement QA/QC programs based on ethanol industry best practices through process sampling and laboratory testing of in-process materials or finished goods.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory of laboratory chemicals and supplies.
  • Operate, maintain, and calibrate laboratory instruments, including HPLC, GC, and IC.
  • Prepare technical reports, analyze data, interpret rest results, and recommend process adjustments to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations within the laboratory.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, R&D and EHS teams to ensure effective implementation of the QA/QC program.
  • Maintain laboratory and plant cleanliness in accordance with established procedures.
  • Calibrate, validate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Provide quality control data necessary for regulatory submissions.
  • Perform validations in accordance with applicable policies or guidelines.
  • Support other laboratory testing and data collection work as needed to support successful operation of our facility.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A B.S. degree in a scientific or technical field is required, or an Associate's degree with equivalent experience.
  • Experience in QA/QC or process industry laboratory operations.
  • Familiarity with automated lab equipment (HPLC, GC, IC) preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computerized lab systems.
  • Some experience with wet-chemistry testing methods
