Job description

Job Title: Quality Control Technician Location: Cary, IL Type: Contract Compensation: $25-30/hr Work Model: Onsite Hours: Sunday - Thursday, 7am - 3pm

Overview Support a leading global medical technology manufacturer as a Quality Control Technician, helping ensure laboratory data accuracy and compliance for products that make a meaningful impact on patient care. This onsite contract role is a great opportunity for candidates with GxP/cGMP laboratory experience and strong analytical chemistry data review skills who thrive in a collaborative, quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform functions associated with quality control/quality assurance operations, including working with chemists/microbiologists to conduct simple reviews (reagent review/pH data review, visual data review), complex data review (chromatographic - HPLC/GC, titrator, density meter, FTIR), and perform investigations for OOS/OOT results.
  • Utilize electronic programs to evaluate data, assist in assessing and documenting quality assurance and control processes.
  • Perform other activities as needed to support laboratory operations and ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

  • BS in Scientific Field preferably Analytical Chemistry.
  • Minimum of 2+ years working in a GxP laboratory environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills (English).
  • Experience working in current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) or other cGxP environments.
  • Experience performing analytical chemistry data review.

Preferred:

  • Experience using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
  • Experience reviewing chromatography data within Empower, LabX, and Omnic software.
  • Waters Empower Software Experience.
  • Metter Toledo LabX Software Experience.
  • LabVantage 8 for electronic lab notebook.
