QC Lab Technician
Key Responsibilities
โ€ข Conduct routine quality control testing on aggregates, including gradation, moisture content, density, and specific gravity.
โ€ข Perform field testing at quarry and construction sites (e.g., compaction tests, sampling, and monitoring).
โ€ข Collect, label, and prepare material samples in accordance with established procedures.
โ€ข Maintain accurate records of test results, inspections, and daily reports.
โ€ข Ensure materials meet project specifications, DOT regulations, and company quality standards.
โ€ข Calibrate and maintain laboratory and field-testing equipment.
โ€ข Communicate test results, discrepancies, and quality concerns to supervisors and operations teams.
โ€ข Assist with troubleshooting production issues related to material quality.
โ€ข Follow all safety protocols and ensure compliance with MSHA, OSHA, and company safety policies.
