Job description

Preferred Experience:

  • Minimum 8-10 years of Quality Control experience in industrial construction, maintenance, and turnaround environments.
  • Minimum 5 years in a QC leadership role (QC Manager, Lead Inspector, Quality Superintendent, etc.).
  • Experience supporting refinery, petrochemical, chemical, LNG, power generation, or heavy industrial facilities.
  • Demonstrated success managing multi-discipline quality teams during turnarounds or outage events.

Technical Knowledge:

  • Strong working knowledge of ASME Section I, ASME Section VIII, ASME B31.1/B31.3, NBIC, AWS D1.1, and applicable API standards.
  • Experience developing and implementing Quality Plans, Inspection Test Plans, and turnover requirements.
  • Ability to interpret client specifications, contract requirements, and industry codes.
  • Strong background in weld quality, NDE coordination, material traceability, and documentation control.

Leadership and Administrative Skills:

  • Experience supervising QC Inspectors and NDE personnel.
  • Client-facing experience with daily reporting, quality meetings, and issue resolution.
  • Proven ability to manage NCRs, corrective actions, root cause investigations, and project turnover packages.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills in fast-paced turnaround environments.

  • AWS CWI
  • API 510, 570, and/or 653
  • ASNT Level II Certifications
