Job Description
The Vehicle Motion (Chassis Controls) Product Division develops innovative solutions for active driving safety including highly automated driving. Areas include: Antilock Braking Systems(ABS), Traction Control Systems(TCS), Electronic Stability Control(ESC), Sensors (wheel-speed, steering-angle, and yaw-rate); Electronics for occupant and pedestrian safety (airbag control and crash sensors), Driver assistance systems (Predictive Emergency Braking, and Night Vision Networked solutions) As a leading supplier in the automotive industry, Robert Bosch LLC has made its Farmington Hills and Plymouth Michigan facilities the headquarters for its North American automotive businesses. These facilities house more than 1,700 associates who are dedicated to improving relationships with our customers and furthering Bosch's technologies.
  • Calibration, Verification and Validation of brake systems which include electronic brake actuation and ESP function.
  • Coordination of test vehicles and necessary test equipment to perform tests.
  • Participation in vehicle test sessions in different locations (summer and winter).
  • Performing release procedures (verification and validation) of software for different sample stages as well as final production software.

Qualifications
Required:
  • Currently enrolled at Kettering University (Section A) pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of a 3.0
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Valid Driver's License
