Job Title: Quality Inspector

Department: Quality

FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt

Revision Date: 5/16/2025

Reports to: Quality Supervisor

Primary Purpose: To assist the quality control department in meeting and exceeding pre-determined requisites and guidelines through established functional programs.

Essential Functions:

· Print labels for specified shifts

· Perform 1st piece approval process

· Provide boundary samples for all production runs

· Verify correct documentation identified per product / work cell

· Perform label verification process - 1 tote per pallet

· Perform in-process part inspection per DIS (verify frequency per specific

· product

· Perform LPA audits as scheduled

· Meet as IATF 16949 requirements for your area; step-by step, packaging,

· quality alerts, and visual aids

· Document detailed summary of shift concerns for the next shift

· Assist with training of new / in-training operators

· Pass color verification (Hue Test). Re-certify at Managements discretion

· Perform tasks with specific measuring devices (i.e. calipers, gages, Macbeth Light etc.)

Qualifications:

· Good organizational skills.

· Ability to work well within a team environment

· 1+ year of manufacturing experience, preferably in the plastics and automotive industry.

· Basic knowledge of quality control

· Excellent attendance record
