Become a Joint Pole Quality Control / Inspection, Senior Supervisor at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll lead a team of office and field professionals responsible for delivering quality assurance and compliance throughout the Request for Attachment lifecycle. This role oversees the identification and resolution of unauthorized pole attachments, supporting system safety, regulatory compliance, and the reliable operation of SCE's infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Helps division leaders with identifying root causes, trends, process improvements and implementing solutions.
  • Manages and maintains project records which include materials notebooks, as-built plans, and pay quantity records, evaluating and monitoring progress schedules as well as preparing work orders.
  • Oversees the inspection and installation of conduit, structures, and related components ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and policies, managing crew workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over material, facilities, and products.
  • Manages cross functional quality projects including data collection, analysis and implementation of recommendations through completion.
  • Creates training materials and programs as required and conducts training sessions to support the quality system, participating in technical and program development training.
  • Performs contractor field safety assessments.
  • Creates and maintains a safety conscious work environment by leading and influencing others to follow Edison safety protocols and safe work practices.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Four or more years of combined experience performing or supervising quality control and inspections.
  • Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business.
  • Experience with joint pole operations and/or Southern California Joint Pole Committee (SCJPC) standards.
  • Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Additional Information
  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
