Summary:

Conducts sanitation inspections, pre-operational inspections, GMP audits, and quality verification activities to ensure GDI sanitation and janitorial programs support the customer's food safety and quality systems.

Shift (s) Available: 1st Shift (days) and 3rd Shift (nights)

Essential Duties:

  • Perform post-clean inspections and pre-operational inspections.
  • Verify sanitation effectiveness and identify deficiencies.
  • Conduct GMP and housekeeping audits.
  • Verify completion of Master Sanitation Schedule tasks and periodic cleaning activities.
  • Assist with ATP monitoring, environmental sampling programs, and allergen verification activities.
  • Document findings, corrective actions, and reinspection results.
  • Support internal, customer, and regulatory audits.
  • Maintain accurate inspection and quality records.

Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience in Quality Assurance in Food Manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of quality systems and inspection procedures.
  • Ability to read specifications, SOPs, work instructions, and technical documents.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Computer proficiency (Excel, quality management systems, ERP systems).
  • Ability to accurately document inspection and testing results.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
